Privacy Policy
How we treat your wardrobe.
Last updated: 14 June 2026
Aura is a private styling tool. The pieces you add, the looks you save, and the notes you write are yours. We don't sell them, we don't train public models on them, and we don't share them with brands.
What we collect
- Account. Email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile photo.
- Wardrobe content. Items, images, looks, trips, notes, and the metadata you provide or that we enrich (brand, category, colour, season).
- Usage signals. Basic events — pages visited, features used, errors — so we can improve the product.
- Optional location. Only when you ask for a weather-aware suggestion; never stored.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data to anyone.
- We don't share your wardrobe with brands or advertisers.
- We don't use your photos to train public AI models.
Who processes your data
We use a small set of trusted infrastructure providers to run the service: a managed Postgres database and authentication provider, an AI gateway for styling features, and Stripe for billing once paid plans launch. Each processes data only to provide their slice of the service.
Your rights
You can export or delete your wardrobe at any time. Email privacy@aura.style and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're in the EU/UK, GDPR applies and you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
